Richard is the founder, writer, and chief nonsense officer of Daily Grins. Every image, video, and joke on this site starts with him — usually during downtime at his day job, where he drives a concrete mixer truck and collects the kind of real-life material you can't make up.

Where the jokes come from

Daily Grins grew out of Buckle up, B'tches, Richard's Facebook humor page with tens of thousands of followers, built post by post over years. The page's breakout hits — a sassy witch (104K views), a raccoon with strong opinions about coffee (143K views) — proved that original, instantly-readable humor beats recycled memes every time. This site is the permanent home for that work.

How the content gets made

Nothing here is reposted, scraped, or stolen. Each piece starts as an idea — sometimes a real-life moment (like the infamous revolving-door incident at the bank), sometimes just a stray thought at 3 AM. Richard writes the joke, art-directs the image or video, and publishes it here first. If you see a Daily Grins post somewhere else, it started here.

Richard holds every post to one bar: it has to be funny or clever at a glance, and it has to be original. Punchlines aim at Mondays, diets, alarm clocks, and the general absurdity of being alive — never at people. If a joke needs explaining, it doesn't ship.
